The Administration Section is responsible for the general
administration of the Agricultural Research and Development
Centre at Ghammieri. Its main task is to provide support services
to all UNITS falling under the responsibility of Mr. Martin
Bugelli, Director
General of Rural Affairs and Head of Paying Agency,
and to co-ordinate services with the Department of Corporate
Services.
The Maintenance Section, the Garage Section, the Security
Section and the Information, Programmes and Initiatives Unit
fall under the direct responsibility of the Head, Administration
Section.
The Maintenance Section is responsible for maintenance works
in all public gardens and for the provision of various services
as and when required to all Departments falling under the
MRAE.

The Garage Section repairs and services all Government owned
Agricultural machinery and vehicles attached to the various
Departments falling under the MRAE.

The Security Section provides 24hours security facilities
at the Agricultural Research and Development Centre and at
other outstations.

The Information, Programmes and Initiatives Unit is responsible
for the production and distribution of ALL printed matter
including the monthly newsletter 'Biedja u Sajd', published
by the Ministry. The Unit is also responsible for the weekly
radio programme 'Frott Artna' and for promoting 'Agriculture'
amongst school children and Non Government Organisations.
